Trump & Tiger Woods’ Close Relationship Exposed Despite Don Jr.’s ‘Furious’ Feelings Toward the Golfer After Dating His Ex-Wife

Tiger Woods has been dating Donald Trump Jr.’s ex, Vanessa Trump, for a few years. So it’s absolutely no surprise to learn that Woods is firmly in the Trump family circle. But what might be surprising for some people is the fact that the President reportedly introduced Woods and his son’s ex-wife, and he and Woods are pretty tight.
Yes, that’s right. Rob Shuter is reporting that the two are such close friends that the President is listed as an emergency contact for Woods. That’s…a lot of trust. But it makes sense, considering the body cam from Woods’ recent arrest shows him telling a deputy, “I was just talking to the president.”

Reportedly, he probably was. “Their relationship is much tighter than people realize,” one source told the gossip journalist. “This isn’t casual — they talk all the time.”
And Woods isn’t known for having many friends. “He’s a loner,” the insider explained. “Tiger doesn’t have a big circle of friends. He keeps people at a distance.” The source also added, “If someone is in Tiger’s inner circle, it’s because he trusts them. That list is very, very small.”
The list reportedly has the US President on it.
“When your emergency contact is the President, that tells you everything,” an insider said. And the bond is reportedly not new, it has been going on for years. “Tiger respects loyalty,” a source explained. “And he believes Trump has been loyal to him.”
“Tiger doesn’t let people in,” the insider added, “But somehow, Trump got in.”
Right now, that friendship feels pretty ironic considering the relationship between Woods and Vanessa Trump, Donald Trump Jr.’s ex-wife. But especially after Woods’ latest arrest left the President’s son reportedly upset and wary about Woods spending time with his kids.
“This isn’t casual concern — he’s furious. Those are his kids. Full stop,” an insider told Rob Shuter.
“Everyone else gave Tiger the benefit of the doubt. But Don always saw the red flags. Always,” the report said. “Having Tiger as a friend of the family is one thing. Having him around your kids? That’s a completely different story — and, to Don, it’s alarming.”
Woods was arrested on Friday, March 27, and charged with DUI with property damage, as well as refusal to submit to a lawful test. This isn’t his first time being arrested; he was famously arrested for DUI in 2017, with that instance involving prescription drugs. There has been no announcement of what Woods was under the influence of this time around, but reportedly, it was not alcohol.
So, Trump Sr. seems to be fine with Woods. Trump Jr., not so much.
“He doesn’t think Tiger has changed. He refuses to get help. In Don’s mind, this is who he is — and it’s not someone he wants influencing his children.”
It’s hard to see things changing if his ex-wife and his father don’t agree, but we will have to wait and see.
